Blue Bird BMS-127WV+ Servo - 5.3Kg.cm 0.05s 11.3g 10mm
Description
The WV in the name stands for Wide Voltage, indicating that this servo has wide range of acceptable supply voltages and is suitable for 1S LiPo, 4 or 5 cell NiMH and 2S LiPo operation.
The + plus moniker on these servos is to indicate this version is an upgrade on the BMS-125WV we previously sold. Some of the photos still show the BMS-127WV as apart from the label the new servo looks identical.
The Blue Bird BMS-127HV+ is a great servo built to the same space saving form factor as the MKS DS6100 and HV6100. It is similarly precise, with no free play in the geartrain, and is much faster than the competing product. The large output spline is identical to Futaba 25 tooth splines, so replacement output arms are readily available. Note the output spline is not the same as MKS so the servo cannot be used with most MKS accessories.
Although looking like the BMS-105HV, the BMS-127 WV+ uses new components, better bearings and an improved internal design and does not suffer the longevity problems that affected some high hours BMS-105 installations. The BMS-107HV was not affected by the problem anyway.

Light weight, powerful, metal gears. I use these servos on models larger than a 2 meter.
Made in Taiwan. Love-em!
Excellent little servo, very very crisp and rapid response on the AHI on a 2s LiPo.
Truly brilliant servos. I now use them in all my 10-30e size 3D planes.
On 6v they are really fast and powerful. On 8.4v they are simply awesome!
I've bought and used 3 different models of BBird servos. I've liked them all. This plastic case servo is fast, all MG, BB. No jitter. Under $25. The performance is comparable to KST at a lower price point. All BBird servos have a one year warranty. BBird servos are made in TW, which I think is a step above mainland Chinese quality.
great little servo never have any issues with them
purchased a fair few from Neil over the years
excellent service
Great speed and centring. And plenty of power, all in a very lightweight package.
Perfect match for my 1.1m 3D planes.
Fantastic servo and excellent service as always.
VERY quick delivery and well packed.
I first used these servos in an RCRCM Typhoon a couple of years ago, in which they have performed faultlessly, being both fast, and accurate. I'm now installing them in another slope project, and recommend them, (and Hyperflight's service), highly.
I've been seeing good reviews online for Blue Bird, and picked up four of these to replace some 14g MG92B servos. Even on 5V they're a fast servo, not too noisy in operation, and they centre and hold very nicely.
And they definitely get bonus points for having the full specs on the box, and a small servo datasheet included showing you the dimensions, max angle throws, and operating pulse range.
When local sources for Blue Bird servos dried up, I turned to Hyperflight. As per usual, they responded quickly and efficiently. Even after shipping, their price is competitive. Note: people purchasing from Hyperflight need to realize that shipping worldwide is slow these days, no fault of Hyperflight.
Had a Bluebird BMS-106HV fail in my AHI wing so I bought a couple of these as a straight replacement. They fit perfectly.
Ordered at 14:30 hrs and received them first thing the next day. Thanks Neil for your excellent service.
the servo looks strong as expected but makes continuous noise. even at the neutral point. I hope it lasts long enough
bought for a Snipe RES glider, for the "S", very powerful. probably on 1s will be used.
Great cyclic servos for micro helis, can also be used on the tail if run on 8v. They will fit an Oxy2 but you need to sand about 0.3mm off the end of the lower mounting tab and make sure it's pushed up against the upper bearing block when installed so the end of the tab won't brush the screws on the maingear assembly. These servos run at 250hz maximum so make sure you change the servo frequency in the FBL controller setup before plugging them in.
