Description
High quality wound carbon epoxy tapered boom. This tapered tube is ideal for wing spars and low drag tail booms or F3-RES and other classes of model gliders.
This 102 cm long lightweight carbon fiber boom tapers from 10.0 mm diameter to 5.0 mm diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.3 mm. It is made from high modulus carbon fiber wound onto a tapered form, encased in an epoxy matrix, and cured at high temperature. This high quality carbon boom (hollow tapered tube) is extremely rigid and strong, yet only weighs 14.8 g.
If cut down to less than the 90 cm limit for a legal UK Royal Mail postal tube this item will be sent by first class post, or Airmail post for overseas orders. If left full length it will be sent by courier, increasing the delivery cost.

Generally good quality
Bought these booms fof Free Flight contest models and noticed that they aren't straight (about 1.5mm out over 800mm lenfgth)- post- cured off the mandrel? No problem so long as you're aware and presumably irrelevant for their intended RC use.Otherwise very nice, quite stiff for the weight, nice hard cure.
