Misleading product. I bought thinking it will fit my 30mm fuselage, but waste. Hyperflight should do better and add some good description/ measurements for these motor mounts. None of the listings here provide the Outer diameter, Inner diameter (which will be used for gluing), Inner space (max motor diameter) parameters. Very poor marketing of the product, and my mistake that I bought it without proper information.
This motor mount inner diameter is only 26mm, so if your motor is 28mm it will not fit. You will have to do heavy trimming to get your motor fit into it. Either use smaller motor or get a bigger motor mount (I havent tried 32mm yet). However, I saw some reviews that even 32mm motor mount cannot fit a 28mm motor, you still need to do trimming, but little bit.

Fantastic fit and finish. I'm using these in several competition sailplanes. They add durability and strength for those "precision" landings...
Replacing firewall on new Plus X.
When this arrived I thought it was some sort of composite product. But in preparing it for gluing, it is metal covered in some sort of grey/ green coating. I trimmed the fuselage just in front of the existing firewall, cut it out, and with some minor sanding the mount fitted perfectly. I'm fitting a Powerline motor. It looks as if it would suit Xpower motors as well.
Awesome option easy to install. have them in all my 5J models
