KST MS589 Servo - 9.2Kg.cm 0.08s 38.0g 15mm
Description
The MS589 uses a Hall effect (magnetic) positon sensor for maximum acuracy and reliability. Also see the KST D589MG servo which is the same size but uses a potentiometer as a position sensor.
The KST MS589 a similar size and torque as the well regared MKS HV737 and is faster and better value.
Despite not having an -MG moniker the KST MS589 servo has a hardened steel metal gear train.

Best servos available for extreme flight 60” airplanes! Super smooth and fast! Amazing torque and holding power! Perfect centering!
IMHO the best and most reliable 15mm servo there is, and and at a sensible price , not to mention hyperflights superb service
For some time now I’ve been using the smaller ms320 servos because of their extreme reliability, accuracy and speed, they’re quiet too.
The MS589 has proved the perfect answer on large moulded glider elevators and now on the elevator of a fifth scale 55cc petrol powered scale Spitfire.
Wow, these servos are nothing short of revelatory, due I expect to the accuracy of the hall sensor, these servos don't whine like normal digi's. Amazingly quick and fantastically strong on 2S. Bought for a heavy weight slope glider, they're actually for collective on a biggish heli I believe. I don't usually spend this sort of money on servos, but when they're this good, it may well be habit forming.
They use Futaba horns (24t?) so somewhat disappointed the alloy horns I paid extra for really don't fit and I'm expected to return them at my cost?!
In short, I think I'll be buying KST over Hitec in the future.
