F3-RES High Start Silicone Rubber
Description
Compete the high start by adding up to 100 m of 0.7 mm monofilament nylon fishing line. An F3-RES high start has a max unstretched length of 115 m. However if this is too long to fit in your field it is fine to shorten it down as required.
Fix the high start by attaching the yellow silicone tubing to a dog walker's stake using a mountain climber's carabiner (not supplied).
Then add the nylon monofilament, using a strong fisherman's swivel.
Use our pennant at the model end and a curtain ring to engage in the model's tow hook.

Yet again fantastic product and service from Hyperflight👍👍👍👍👍
As always before, Neill completed my order quickly, and I got exactly what I wanted. These hi starts have become the item of choice, producing consistent launches and showing high durability.
Top quality rubber, ready to. string up with connectors installed, at a super fair price. What's not to love!
Needed a replacement rubber as my old one wasn't pulling as well. This one arrived quickly along with several other items and was placed in service right away and has allowed me to find tune my launches on my Tetra F3RES sailplane.
Neil always makes sure he sells the best quality. He was out of stock when I first ordered, but when it finally came in it was worth the wait. Only the best
I like that it is complete with ends ready to tie on my monofilament. Shipping was fast and well packed.
Placed an order for several of the high start tubing sets on a Monday evening and they arrived on my doorstep Thursday, three days later in Colorado, USA. Astonishing!
Ordered at 3pm and arrived the following day, very quick.
Bought this to replace one that had been lying around for a long time and had become dozed. This looks of good quality and looking forward to testing it out. Item arrived very quickly!
Ordered my hi start silicon bungee on Friday and arrived next day. Excellent service
Very happy with the high start, have yet to try it out.Was well packed and arrived safely in Australia in a short amount of time.
We have come to rely on this particular high start rubber because of its consistency and longevity in use. Add to that the fact that it comes to us with eyelets for hooking up already installed, and it is an excellent bargain. To top things off, we get the deal with Neil at Hyperflight, so we know our order will be filled promptly and correctly.
I'm back from the flying field where I tried the F3-RES High Start with a 800gr obsolete Graupner Dandy glider. My first time with a High Start + 80m of 25kg line. Streched the whole to about 35 yards/meters. Perfect launches. Note for the newbies like myself: be ready to keep the model on track with the rudder if needed.
I can give Neil 5 stars for his service, I am still yet to try the Hi start, but it came well packaged and made the journey to Australia in very quick time!

Used it for the first time last night. I’d say the performance is on a par with the surgical rubber bungee that I used for many years.
As always, great service. Highly recommend Hyperflight.
It's been a very long time since I renewed my 'bungee' Hi Start system. The new Hyperflight rubber looks to be of good quality. It's so difficult to find decent silicone nowadays, I've yet to put it the test.

I decided to make an F3-RES spec histart as I plan to build an F3-RES model in the future. For now I'm using it to launch a classic 100" all balsa soarer. Struggles a bit, could probably do with a second length of rubber, but for now it's good enough.
Nice stretchy rubber at a good price with next day delivery too. Only slight negative is that I found the very well thought out ends not quite strong enough. OK on initial stretches but failed on what I was intending to be a full stretch. Surprisingly consistent, however - took 50 paces then line/rubber joint parts company. Temporary field fix to that end then try again. Stake end comes loose at exactly 50 paces. Took home did a bit of beefing up and OK since.
Would I buy again? Certainly.
