Dualsky SUMMIT 60X 8V SBEC ESC
Description
The Dualsky SUMMIT 60XU8 is a high quality 60A ESC with an 8V 5A (10A peak) SBEC circuit. It is perfect for all models using HV servos and is suitable for use with 2S-6S LiPo batteries.
The Dualsky SUMMIT 60XU8 has a metal case for excellent heat dissipation but still only weighs 40g including wires. It is supplied with the brake ON, so no programming is required for glider use.
Telemetry is supported using the KIS 24A protocol and is output to a blue wire next to the RC plug. The data output includes:
Temperature - degrees C
Volatage - V
Current - A
Rotation speed - electrical RPM - divide by motor poles/2 to convert to mechanical RPM.
Like our acclaimed HyperFlight ESCs this Dualsky ESC uses BLHeli-32 firmare. This makes it very efficient and thus small. However it also means that a PC and an Aurdino Nano or a BL Heli USB Programming Interface is reqired to program it, if required.
Due to current supply issues newer versions of these speed controls may have been loaded with a developement version of the firmware and needs a special version of the the programmer called BLHeliSuite32Test. Please download the .zip file from here, unzip it and run BLHeliSuite32Test.exe to configure the speed control, if required.

I used this to replace a YGE 65lvt esc. It is lighter and seems to give more power than the YGE. I had to use a throttle curve as full power comes in very quickly. The brake works well and is preset.

A great F5J option
An ESC with the same ESC's drones philosophy.
A fantastic option for F5J where you want high BEC voltage. Essentially the same as the slim, but with an aluminium heatsink and 8V BEC.
You can, at your risk, take out the aluminum sink and put a clear heat shrink tube, and you'll got the same weight as the slim with those 8V BEC.
A great product.
Of course Hyperflight continues it's service second to none.
