The Yoda EL is a high-performance electric glider designed to excel in F5K competitions while also serving as a versatile sport glider for flying just about anywhere. Despite its lightweight construction, it maintains impressive penetration even against moderate winds. However, with added camber, the Yoda EL slows down beautifully, allowing it to climb effortlessly in the lightest thermals.
Mirroring the exceptional handling of the Yoda DLG, the Yoda EL benefits from generous polyhedral, providing outstanding stability and a well-balanced control response-perfect for both competitive and recreational pilots. Its separate flaps enhance landing precision, enabling crow braking for controlled, ultra-slow approaches. This makes it ideal for flying in small spaces and rough terrain.
Designed for convenience, the two-piece wing and compact fuselage allow the Yoda EL to be packed into a box as small as 90 × 16 × 6 cm, making it an excellent travel companion. YODA EL
Excellent service from Neil, as always. The quality of this model is indeed on a different level. The airframe structure is well thought out and engineered to perfect accuracy and fit of all the components. Always wanted one of these since they were first produced but sadly production ceased due to the war in Ukraine. Now they're back in limited quantity and so the Snipe EL has had to go. Now looking forward to summer flying........!
