This beautiful boom fits the AVA Pro and the AVA Classic pod, and is a lighter and longer replacement of the Vladimir's Models original. Suitable for use with AVA V mounts. Can also be used with the Kristoffair M2A-e Electric glider fuselage pod.

Excellent quality boom, perfect surface finish, light weight and extremely rigid. Also boom was packaged in a thick cardboard tube, which arrived damaged, but the boom was intact.
I recently bought 2 of these booms for use in electric gliders. Unfortunately one of the booms had a manufacturing flaw about half way along. I contacted Neil who said "send it back and I will either give you a refund or a replacement boom." I elected to have a replacement boom, which arrived very soon afterwards. Excellent customer service.

I am building electric soarers 2.6 to 3m span. Something like the Bubble Dancer but with a lower camber airfoil. I have tried for 2 months to roll my own booms. After hand making eight with the video tape method I decided to have a closer look at this boom.
The boom is excellent. Weighing 30.8gr and with a stiffness similar to mine that weighs 10gr more (40-45gr).
Three days delivery to Athens-Greece is surprisingly good.
