Refurbing an old vikos F3F model two hitec 5085mg’s were fitted in the fuz. Never had a lot of luck with hitec so I changed them out for kst ds145mg’s.
Smoothest gear train ever! Ran these for 30 minutes each on my old servo tester then dropped them into the vikos. At rest they buzz a little but very very smooth in operation. I’m impressed. High pressure and low winds for two weeks now..but when the weather breaks I’ll confidently fly the vikos with these. Quick delivery and good packaging from hyperflight. Thanks Neil.

In my "wing" glider, 2 servos use up very little battery power - my experience over many outings is that 2 typically consume 155mA per hour in total, which is great for those wishing to use smaller capacity batteries for space/lightness reasons, or just enjoy plenty of hours flying between charges.

This servo is perfect for use with the JR Axis Gyro. It is powerful enough for all but the heaviest use. It's low profile allows it to fit within a wing or deep narrow fuselage.

i bought these to use in a 3D model (using a 4S power system) that had large surfaces that moved to extreme positions - hence i needed servos that would provide power , speed and high resolution . I was dubious that a £25 servo could meet my reqts however reviews from other pilots advised they were worth a look. Having now fitted these servos to the model i can advise that they meet all my reqts and even with extended arms on servos there centering is spot on . There is no servo hum at neutral , speed is superb and they provide a really tight link to all control surfaces . i have used the metal servo arms supplied , these ensuring a solid link to all control surfaces . torque more than adequate for my model , in future i will use these on larger model (6s ) - highly recommended
bought two of these recently for a novice glider,
not much room in fuselage but these will be perfect, smoth operating servo,
will be using more kst servos in the future,
just simply very well made
I have been a modeller for the past 45years and have tried lots of well known brand servos over this time. I wanted some quality servos for my new camera gimbal for my aeropic quad.I looked rather deeply into the subject to the point of thinking of building my own.
I could not find any servo with zero backlash on the gear train. However I was so impressed by a video i seen featuring these so i decided to purchase a pair.
Money very well spent!
This servo just speaks quality product from the time you pick it up to connecting it to your radio quiet power with a reasonable response. The mounting lugs are robust and the whole servo speaks quality. It is supplied with a lovely quality alloy servo arm and a collection of nylon arms and screws. The alloy arm is a perfect engineering fit to the knurling on the output shaft and requires a perfectly true pull to remove it. This quality of engineering I like.
I will be purchasing more of these servos in the future for my larger models

I only have one negitive thing to say and its so minor i was not going to mention it the mounting lugs are bored for a 3mm threaded screw But there is not enough free space against the casing for the head of a 3mm threaded pin either a allan head or dome head to fit without taking a little from the diameter of the screw head However having said this, I highly recommend this servo if you require precision and like quality engineering and a servo you feel you can trust
