GM 12x8 Folding prop blades
Description
These blades are thinner (they have a higher aspect ratio) than normal folding propeller blades, allowing larger diameter blades to be fitted without pulling too much current. This increases the propulsive efficiency of the powertrain. They are also engineered to fold closer to the fuselage, and cause less drag when folded than other props. Note this product consists of two carbon propeller blades only. The central spinner/yoke assembly is not included. Also it is common for prop blades to not fit all spinner/yokes perfectly as supplied. It is often necessary to reduce the width the blade root slightly to ensure free folding movement. Also the cut out in the spinner cone often needs to be increased to allow the blades to fully extend. The root of the blade should not touch the spinner cone when the prop is fully opened.

Great product and Great Service. Neil really understands the nuances and needs of r/c soaring. I live in the U.S. at the foot of The Rocky Mountains . It’s FUN to always get exactly what I want in a timely manner, at a good price all the way from the home of my ancestors in England!
The blades are light, stiff and the thin air foil matches very well for motors in the low to middle range of speed.
The blades align nicely along the fuse, after removing a bit of material. The removal is possible because the speed is only 8000rpm.
I have used these blades before. They are excellent 12 x8 on a hacker A10 7l with a 500mah 3cell only pulling 9 amps very impressive
I have already tried these propellers in all sizes and for lightness and efficiency they are extraordinary
