For Thomas - if you are expecting a 3mm tube to not flex at all, you are not going to find it - in any commonly available material. Even stainless and silver steel tubes will flex and bend once a certain length is exceeded. Your 1* is an unfair score for you selecting an incorrect component for your purposes.

Product is excellent, just what I have been looking for.. Using carbon tube for insert tube for fishing floats, already tested and cannot find fault. Good few salmon in the freezer will testify to my claims. Made a jig for cutting tube to prevent splitting as freehand cutting not recommended. Many thanks, will be ordering more.
i bought two of these rods. I was going to use it in my scratch built depron plane. But the carbon tube is very flexible. It is not extremely rigid like stated in the description. It is very easy to bend. I had to use both of the carbon in the wing and the wing is still floppy.
