Powerline Micro 1025/10 102g
Description
The new 2020 version is supplied with a stronger Competition gearbox that better handles the higher power this motor is cable of. This is coloured sliver-grey rather than black for the previous version.
This new Powerline Micro 1025/10 motor is specially designed for use on F5J models that have a ballast provision, and can get a heavy 2.4 Kg model to 200 m in 30 seconds even in windy conditions. It will of course be fine when the model is flown unballasted too. It is also perfect for converted F3J models which usually weigh more than modern F5J models.

Not much to say about a Powerline product, just the best. What I can comment on is the service from Hyperflight - SUPERB.
I recently ordered a motor and related parts for a Pike Brio Extreme I was converting to
an electric sailplane. The order was easy to complete and being able to track the order to Canada was great. Everything arrived as ordered with no problems. I think Hyperflight will be my 'go to' business in the future.
I needed to replace my 1025F5J So I ordered a new one with the turbo gear box,
After install, check the power draw with 14x8 Aero-Naut Cam blades, It drew 46 Amps.
my old motor drew only 36 amps on the same Aero-naut blades.
This new combo has lots more power. Now I have to go fly the airplane.
31A with RFM14x8 and 55A with VM 16x8.5. It does not require much cooling time for restarting. Versatile motor
I put it in a NAN Orion V2 and think it’s perfect for this plane. I was having a hard time finding a suitable motor in the USA without a long back order, so I took a chance and ordered from Hyperflight in the UK. I’m so glad I did. The package got to me in under a week which was quite impressive to me given it travelled through customs and across the pond. I rarely get packages shipped domestically in that time frame. I’ve been flying my new model with this motor for a couple weeks now and couldn’t be happier. It’s plenty powerful and I can get decently long flight times with a variety of different packs. Thank you Hyperflight. I won’t hesitate to order from you again in the future.

Great product from a great supplier. Shipping was fast to Virginia. Motor was installed in a 62 oz Maxa. With a 16 x 8 prop and about 50 amps , achieved 625 feet on 30 seconds. Very nice motor.
Earlier, on the unpack and check I found only 2 motor mount screws. At the end of the afternoon I got around to finding a home for the big box it came in, and heard a rattle. The missing screws are no longer missing. They must have escaped the zipsealed polythene bag the motor capsule and the previous pair of screws were in. I think it wasn't entirely my fault for missing the loose screws. Anyway, happy to say I don't have a screw loose!
Came with two M2.5 motor mounting screws, while the motor gearbox has 4 mounting points. Maybe 2 screws is a preference but in the absence of any remark in the motor fact sheet I am going to want to use 4 screws.
Motor wires will need bullets adding.
Very good upgrade from the "old" 1025. About 20 % more power. Where the old one draws about 43 Amps with the 16 x 8 prop, the new one draws about 54/55 Amps. Brings a 1600 g model to 370 meters in 30 seconds. Very good for a fully ballasted F5J model in heavy wind!
(The weight of the motor is 106 g, not 91 g)
