I purchased this tubing for DLG tails to insert into foam vac bagged stab & fin before fitting torsion springs to help avoid springs damaging foam and pushing thru light skin. Also use as friction free outer for stainless steel pushrods on non pull pull DLGs. Excellent product & Excellent service from Hyperflight, 8 days to Australia.

perfect with beadalon 49 strand 0.015" cable for dlg

I glue this tubing into the tails and then slide in the torsion springs...keeps the springs from pushing and poking the carbon tails...works well

Got this tubing to insert in the tails of my 1 meter Hawks....after a lot of flights, the torsion springs started pushing on the carbon skin...drilled some 1.05 meter holes, glued in the tubing, inserted springs, done deal!!!....Got the idea from my Auri build!!

I read about this in RCM&E. I am installing ‘pull pull’ aileron controls into an SE5a (3ft span) and previous experience with fishing wire did not bode well. This tubing however is exactly what was needed to provide minimum resistance for 4 ailerons off a single micro servo. Tests are excellent, but a way to go yet before it’s proven in the air.

Not used it yet but really nice low friction tubing, will be using mine to protect my pull spring cable from rubbing on carbon.

Great stuff; finally it's available on roll and not in precut length.I always have some of this in stock, just in case.Getting the wires through an F3k fuse is so easy with this. It took a bit time from order to arrival but that's when you order during christmas-time.

I was disappointed that there wasn't but a 1 meter piece. I should have read the discription more closely. The picture was deceiving.

purchased this teflon tubing for my mini topsky,great product for dlg carbon boom push rods assembly,will glue easy with ca glue to the boom, would purchase this product again,many thanks hyperflight.

I used this together with the "24SWG 0.56mm Stainless Steel Wire " for elevator/rudder pushrods. They work great together, though I'll probably be converting to a pull/spring to save on weight and get the lead out of the nose!

For a long time I use the teflon sleeve for DLG pushrods and bigger projects. Have tried it from different suppliers. This one are perfect quality, easily stretch if needed and well bondable with CA.

Best pushrod housing. Light, low friction and easy to install with CA glue.

A basic item in many ways. However vitally useful
and does what it says on the tin i.e. makes pushrods glide like
the precision DLG they control. What is less commonplace is the
immaculate way they arrived - neatly coiled and taped together with the ss pushrod wire ordered at the same time, in a tailor-made flat box.
Packed with less care and the wire would spring open and be ruined with kinks and bends. These things matter and Hyperflight takes the trouble.
