Now been flying this great compact glider for a year. Its proved to be capable of many weather conditions and it presents well in poor light conditions. Its my "go to" glider
But a sudden drop in lift yesterday resulted in a badly damaged wing
The beautiful glider soars above the ground with no equal.
No question on parts and manufacture quality but two issues with the build
1. The elevator snake radius inside the fin had excessive friction until a prepared a pre formed radius on the wire pushrod which took 2 attempts to get satisfactory
2. Very limited width at the recommended side by side Rudder & Elevator servo positions to achieve the recommended 11mm servo arm throw. An option would be tandem mounting. Now waiting for suitable winds for my site.
