X-Dream 2m
Description
The X-Dream is the very latest development of Alois Janowetz, the designer of the X-RES, Minores, Desire 2 - the top models of the 2018 and 2019 seasons in Austria and Germany. The new X-Dream is even lighter and performs even better.
The X-Dream has well harmonised flight characteristics and amazing performance. Despite the compettion-optimised design the model is agile and extremely easy to fly. The simple yet strong design and the brilliant use of weight-optimized materials allows a flying weight as low as 380g and thus a wing loading of only 10.6 g/dm2 (3.5 oz/sq ft), resulting in very low sink rates.
The large 2-part spoilers allow almost vertical descents without an increase in speed. The wing separates into three panels and the tailplane is removable making the model very easy to transport.
The laser cut kit has very simple and robust construction. Apart from the 6 mm carbon fibre wing joiners and the CF all moving tailplane mount the model is built from selected and optimized laser cut balsa and plywood. The model can be built very quickly using cyanoacrylate superglue, white glue or 5-minute epoxy. Oralight covering is recommended. An adjustable tow hook is standard and is included in the kit, as are the servo linkages. The kit includes a colour plan and comprehensive instructions, in German only. See the More detals heading below for links to the German manual and an English translation.

Excellent service and delivery.
Kit quality, wood and plan are great. Although I have built a number of models, I had to read the online building notes a number of times to understand build sequence and also dry fit everything before gluing. Can't wait to fly her.
Ordered kit Thursday, showed up Monday, first flight Friday morning at 15.0 oz. All that in eight days - I'm impressed! Sweet flyer too.
Got there kit within 3 days of ordering, really well packed. A quick look at the wood shows really well chosen balsa and ply with clean laser cutting. Can't wait to clear the building board and get started.
I haven't yet begun construction, but the kit arrived very quickly, double-boxed, and in pristine condition. Material and plan quality appear to be top notch.
I haven't finished the build yet, but so far I am very pleased and very impressed.
On unboxing the quality of the materials and the laser cutting are excellent and it's a very complete kit. As I start to assemble, there are lots of clever design features that help to build the X_Dream to a high quality. Would recommend

Bought this as sometimes going to the east coast when wind forecast is 12 but when you get there it is 5/6 mph as a lightweight flyer and yes it does fly very well in light winds and also with the c/f ballast tube in and 280 mm of brass in it it coped admirably in 15 mph.laser cutting is excellent especially the complex fus doublers, next to no fettling throughout the kit. Glue ! I used cyano in some parts but gluing the false LE used Ailiphatic resin as it is sandable also for the LE and the front of the d box sheets .To attach them I used Super phatic to glue them to the ribs as it is much more controllable than cyano. Only used 1roll of Lw covering for the whole model without skimping or taking too much care with overlap scrap. There are planes that seem expensive but fly very well and there are cheap ones that look good but do not, this is in the former category.
First of all, this kit is of the highest quality in materials and laser cutting. The manual is in German and translating it was easy using Google but as usual computer translations are not the best. The wing as is with all aircraft is the most difficult part, just study the plans and parts and use your best judgement, the rest is easy. I finally got a chance to test fly today, and wow!!! First toss was perfect, I flew nearly 30 seconds off a gentle toss. It has to incredible hang time and the control response is very crisp. Unfortunately after 4 great flights my rudder control horn came loose, no crash just noticed the rudder was way out of trim, and the reason was obvious. Would have been a 2 minute fix had I remembered to bring some glue. I highly recommend this kit, I have $600 2.5 meter Pulsar Pro and this little guy has longer legs and better control.

I just received the kit, from ordering to delivery from the UK to Iowa in the US was 3 days that is just incredible service! Well done Hyperflight! I will do another review of the kit when I build and fly the glider, for now I just wanted to mention the fantastic service and amazing quality of the shipping packaging and the high quality of the kit it’s self.
